瑞典厂牌CMI已经是一个无需介绍的名字了，它当仁不让地维持着自己在黑暗领域的领袖地位。
CMI制作的音乐有飘逸仙音，也有刺耳噪声，但无论何种形式，听上去全都漆黑一片。雪花固然柔弱，但若全是黑色的话，就免不了令人触目惊心。
这张双CD合辑Flowers Made of Snow毫无疑问就是CMI的宣言，就像几年前的那张取得巨大成功的合辑The Absolute Supper一样，CMI又一次为人们指明了黑暗音乐的前进方向。该合辑既包含了CMI的传统血脉也引人了新鲜血液。CD1偏向黑暗民谣、神秘仙音等，CD2则更喧噪粗砺。大多数曲目以前从来没有发表过。
